Help Expand SafeLink Alberta’s Drop-In Centre – A Lifeline for Those in Need
by SAFELINK ALBERTA SOCIETYEvery day, individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and health disparities walk through our doors seeking refuge, support, and dignity. SafeLink Alberta’s Drop-In Centre is more than just a space—it is a lifeline, providing essential services, critical healthcare support, and a sense of belonging to those who need it most.
Right now, demand is rising, and we need your help. We are expanding our Drop-In Centre’s capacity to support more participants by increasing access to:
- Basic needs: Basic food, hygiene supplies, and weather-appropriate clothing.
- Health services: HIV self-testing kits, STBBI testing and treatment, and educational resources.
- Peer support & case navigation: One-on-one guidance and group support to provide emotional support and help individuals connect with housing, mental health, and social services. Through our drop-in centre, we support individuals by providing referrals and assistance in navigating other social services.
- A safe and welcoming space: Where everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and care.
Your support—whether through donations or volunteering—directly impacts lives. Professionals like you can help ensure our community members receive the care they deserve.
