Over the years, Cerebral Palsy Alberta (CPAA) has established itself as a leader in the delivery of inclusive programs and support services for individuals with disabilities and has grown to serve over 4,300 members within the province. Our organization puts people first and promotes diversity, independence and full citizenship. We are committed to excellence, effectiveness and accountability. As a proactive and innovative organization, we ensure that our members are valued, and treated with dignity and respect. The CPAA provides informed, compassionate support services; educational programs; wellness, recreation, therapeutic and leisure opportunities; and community advocacy for our members.
We provide services such as individual and family support; social and recreational programs, therapy, assistive technology, referrals, and advocacy. Programs offered include music therapy, dance, art, yoga, aqua therapy, equine therapy, gardening, computer classes and our Me N' U Social Connections group which is designed to bring together children aged 6 months - 3 years and their parents/guardians/caregivers to help navigate the early years. These programs and services are tailored to benefit specific age groups and are available to individuals with disabilities in Calgary, Edmonton, and surrounding areas as well as our new Northern Alberta service area.
To further expand our reach, the CPAA has Health & Wellness programs that you can participate in…virtually anywhere! We are featuring classes for Music, Art, Yoga, ZUMBA, ComputAbilities as well as Parent Support Groups and Social Meet-up Groups.
