Help GWDS raise $5000 by Aug 31, 2020!

by Good Women Dance Society

Good Women Dance Collective is a professional, contemporary dance company whose commitment to fostering a vibrant and sustainable dance community in Edmonton has provided space for both emerging and established artists since 2009. Good Women Dance Collective’s artistic focus is on creating and producing innovative new works with integrity and conviction. GWDC also dedicates a large part of its season to providing education and professional development opportunities through workshops, classes, and mentorship.

Please consider making a financial gift to Good Women Dance Collective in 2020. Your tax-deductible donation of $100, $250, $500 or any amount you wish will ensure success for GWDC throughout the remainder of our 2019/2020 season! And, in doing so, you will be recognized as someone who acknowledges the importance of the arts in our everyday lives.

Highlights of the 2019/2020 season include:

- A World Premiere created by GWDC and vocal ensemble FEMME titled "The Beginning of Happiness"
- Creative Incubator series, which features audience-artist dialogue around new in-process works.
- Guest instructors such as Peggy Baker, Richard Lee and Mpoe Mogale
- Our Apprenticeship program, which provides opportunities for emerging artists to gain experience by spending time in the studio with GWDC artists to partake in creative processes.

All donations of $25 or more will receive a tax receipt!

For donations of $100 or more, we would be honoured to recognize your generosity on our website and in our Season Brochure within one of the following categories:

Dependable Dames ($100-$249)
Stand up Gals ($250-$499)
Righteous Babes ($500-$999)
Good Women ($1000+)

Your financial contribution will directly help to sustain the Good Women Dance Collective by allowing our community of artists to pursue professional development opportunities, and continuing to create groundbreaking, high calibre performances for Edmonton's ever-growing contemporary dance audiences.
