Airdrie 1st Club

For almost 50 years, Airdrie 1st Club has been dedicated to strengthening our community through volunteer service and local support. Over the years, we have contributed to key organizations across Airdrie, including the Airdrie Public Library, Airdrie Food Bank, Airdrie Meals on Wheels, Thumbs Up Foundation, Bethany Care, and many other local charities and groups that make our community a better place. This is achieved with monies raised through the AGLC Casinos

You may have seen our red-vested volunteers around the city—supporting Blood Donor Clinics, assisting at the Airdrie Festival of Lights, or serving as community ambassadors at city-wide events. Everywhere we go, our goal is the same: to make Airdrie a better place for all who call it home.

Our Holiday Hamper Program

Our most impactful initiative is the annual Holiday Hamper Program, held every December. This program provides personalized hampers to low-income individuals and families, helping them experience a brighter and more joyful holiday season.

Each Holiday Hamper includes; Gift cards to purchase their traditional foods for a Holiday Dinner and gifts for every immediate family member, and are packed by caring members of our club.

Whenever possible, we match community sponsors with recipients to create a more personal and meaningful experience. These hampers offer more than gift cards and gifts—they offer hope, dignity, and connection, and empower our recipients to create a holiday all of their own.

Powered 100% by Volunteers

Airdrie 1st Club is completely volunteer-run. We have no paid staff and receive no government funding. Every program we offer is carried out by dedicated members who give their time, energy, and compassion to support our city.

Because of this, 100% of all donations go directly to our community programs.
