FRFA provides for cats of all ages, from day old orphans to the very elderly. One of the greatest challenges with the senior cats is the additional costs of medical care-dental care in particular. Painful teeth need to removed and the huge expense is that the cat must be anesthetized. Dental work hugely improves health and the possibility of a senior being considered for adoption. Though people are willing to provide for their much loved companion, most balk at considering a cat with expensive veterinary needs.
Donations to dental care for the seniors are hugely appreciated.
