COVID-19 makes this Giving Tuesday even more important than ever! SHARP provides 24/7 supported housing to some of Calgary's most vulnerable people therefore it needs to continue providing safety and health (physical and mental) supports to the people we serve. Unfortunately the pandemic has impacted, and will impact, SHARP's largest revenue sources for the staffing at our Beswick House location (24/7 supports for high medical acuity), special projects, increased purchases of Personal Protective Equipment and increased food security. Unfortunately SHARP only receives a third of the funding necessary for Beswick House operations through government grants.
