Facility Condition Assessment

As operators of the “Old YWCA” building, CommunityWise is seeking financial support for the creation of an updated Facility Condition Assessment (FCA). The building has not had a comprehensive FCA completed in over 15 years and requires substantial interventions to maintain operations for community benefit and historic asset integrity. The FCA will be done in consultation with the City of Calgary, the building owners. A FCA and an action plan to execute the assessment recommendations will be created, including lifecycle and preventative maintenance programs. The total cost, including an assessment, action plan, and consultant fees is estimated to cost $30,000.
