Angels for Mexico Society Calgary

Angels from Mexico is a non-profit charity that was started in Calgary in 2007. Although initially one of our main programs was the support of emergency service departments in Mexico, we have evolved into something that looks different from this.

Angels for Mexico supports the needs of families in Mexico and we do this in a number of ways.

Working with the Social Service Departments in Mexico, we are able to identify the greatest needs in each area we work in. Our main programs are now the building of donated playgrounds, school supplies, refurbished bicycles for at risk youth programs, and the donation of surplus emergency service gear and equipment to give these families a better chance at being safe.

The changes that we have seen through each shipment and our playground builds have been remarkable. It has shown us that it takes very little to affect change in these impoverished areas. The gratitude for our efforts has been overwhelming and very humbling.
