The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum honours the builders, champions, and storytellers of sport by celebrating their achievements and lasting contributions to Alberta’s sporting legacy. As a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization, the Hall is dedicated to recognizing the province’s most outstanding athletes, builders, and members of the media—our Hall of Famers, who are the very reason we exist.

These remarkable individuals have shaped Alberta’s sports history through passion, perseverance, and excellence. Their stories inspire generations and are preserved and showcased throughout the Hall of Fame to ensure their legacies live on.

Laugh, play, and explore Alberta’s sports history together in a hands-on environment designed to engage all ages. With over 7,000 square feet of exhibit space, visitors can enjoy a multisport area featuring virtual baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and soccer, a 200-meter wheelchair race, a Treadwall climbing wall, the Orest Korbutt Theatre, the Hall of Fame Gallery, and much more.

Home to more than 16,000 artifacts, the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame brings the province’s sports history to life through vibrant displays and exhibits. The Hall also offers educational programs, group experiences, and a unique venue for birthday parties, special events, corporate receptions, and meetings.
